Chief Executive OfficerRead Erika's bio
Chief Executive Officer
Erika has over 12 years’ experience in the governance field. Erika founded Beyond Governance having fast tracked her career to become one of the UK's youngest FTSE 250 board governance advisers at 32. She was previously Group Company Secretary at Low & Bonar plc (FTSE SmallCap engineering company) and prior to that was Group Company Secretary at The Restaurant Group plc (FTSE 250 hospitality company). In her earlier career she worked at InterContinental Hotels Group plc (FTSE100 dual listed in New York), Premier Food plc (FTSE250), ICAP plc (FTSE100) and KPMG.
Erika is a moderator for The Chartered Governance Institute’s Board Dynamics module for their professional qualification and is a regular speaker at governance and Institute of Director events.
Erika says: “I founded Beyond Governance having seen good governance transform a business and having become frustrated by the lack of practical insights from governance consultants.”
“If I was stranded on a deserted island I would take a satellite phone; I’d enjoy the downtime but I would not want to be stranded there forever!”close

Inderpreet Kaur Bedi
Inderpreet works with a wide range of our clients to build governance frameworks and develop good governance practices.
Prior to joining Beyond Governance she was, from 2017, the Group Company Secretary of EDEN Renewables India Limited (Indian JV of EDF and Total Eren group). She is an ICSI qualified Chartered Secretary and has previously worked in India for multinational companies listed on multiple stock exchanges in India and Europe as well as unlisted corporates.
Inderpreet has significant experience of working in Company Secretarial and Governance functions across the renewable, infrastructure and financial services industries.
Inderpreet says: “I work with Beyond Governance because it gives me the chance to spread my creative wings.”

Governance DirectorRead Katie's bio
Katie has over 10 years’ experience in the company secretarial field. Prior to joining Beyond Governance, Katie worked in-house at a number of companies in financial and mining industries including Amlin plc (Lloyd’s reinsurer FTSE250 - before it was privatised) and KAZ Minerals PLC (FTSE 250 Kazakh copper miner which is dual listed in Hong Kong – formerly known as Kazakhmys PLC). Her most recent role was as Deputy Company Secretary for Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC (FTSE 250 wealth manager).
Katie also served as a Committee member for the Association of Women Chartered Secretaries for 6 years in various roles including Treasurer and Vice President.
Katie says: “I work for Beyond Governance because I can work with a wide variety of clients and can support them to fulfil their potential though good governance.”

Non-Executive DirectorRead Lisa 's bio
Lisa has a wealth of experience in working in listed business and SMEs managing risk and creating opportunities for businesses throughout her career as a best in class corporate affairs director.
Having sat on a number of Boards and committees. Lisa now advises businesses from start- ups and more established organisations on communication, marketing and sustainability. She acts as an advisor for Beyond Governance and also counsels us on our business development and marketing. Lisa is a director emeritus and sits on the development board of the multi-award winning national charity Target Ovarian Cancer and runs a few of her own commercial enterprises.
Lisa says: “I work with Beyond Governance because I love the team’s work ethic and passion to drive change.”
